Our Pricing Permanent & Contract




No deposit is required.
There is no requirement to pay a deposit.



Payment terms - permanent placements
You have two choices for payment terms for permanent placements.

Pre-paid
You may choose pre-paid - payment prior to process commencement: $5,000 plus $500 g.s.t.


Post-paid
You may choose post-paid - payment due when employer and candidate agreed to an employment offer. Payment is "now due" at this point. $6,000 plus $600 g.s.t.



Advertising at cost price
Advertising is charged at COST PRICE, in addition to our flat rate.

We agree an advertising budget with you upon commencement of the recruitment process. This is normally $500.

If, during the process, we determine that additional advertising is required, we will discuss this with you first.

You get the benefit of our bulk buying advertising rates - we do not pocket the difference between bulk buying and advertising list rates.



Exclusive commitment
We require our clients to make an exclusive commitment to assign any individual job search only to us, and not to other recruiters. This makes the recruitment process very efficient and is key to our flat rate pricing.

This commitment is only on a per-job basis, and only for four weeks. We don't require any ongoing commitment.

For many reasons an exclusive commitment is the best possible way for employers to do their recruitment.

Engaging multiple recruitment companies to work on a non-exclusive, horse racing basis is highly inefficient and one of the reasons why IT Recruitment Agencies charge such incredibly high rates.




Standard IT Recruitment Industry Guarantee
In the event that your new, permanent, salaried team member leaves for any reason within 12 weeks of commencement, we will re-execute the recruitment process, and you will be billed only for advertising costs.



Contractors
The total cost to the employer = the contractor hourly rate + plus the Flat Rate "per contract hour" rate + gst on both rates.

All contractor costs are paid from the contractor's hourly rate, including superannuation, PAYG, workcover, insurance.

Day-rate and hourly-rate are available.




Contract to permanent conversion
Contract to permanent conversion is charged at $6,000 plus $600 g.s.t. and payment is due immediately upon the day that the contractor becomes an employee.



Reference checking
Reference checking is included. We ask candidates for three referees and we make notes of the referee's comments, which we forward to you.



Other checks
Police check $150 plus $15 gst plus Police direct costs
Immigration check $150 plus $15 gst plus Immigration direct costs
University check $150 plus $15 gst plus direct costs (Australian Universities only)
We are happy to discuss conducting University checks outside Australia

You are welcome to carry out these checks directly. If you'd like to, we'll explain how, at no charge.

Questions

Are any fees payable we cancel our requirement?
  • There is no cancellation fee, you are required to pay the cost of advertising.



Are any fees payable if Flat Rate Recruitment does not find someone?
  • If we cannot find the right candidate after a reasonable period of time you are due to pay only the advertising costs incurred.



Are any fees payable if we employ from somewhere else (other recruiter, internal contacts, direct applicant or other source)?
  • This should not occur because we require a signed agreement to an exclusive commitment to source your new employee from Flat Rate Recruitment.



Do you have referees who we can speak to?
Yes we do, give us a call to discuss.



Who does the advertising?
Flat Rate Recruitment handles all the advertising and we charge you cost price.



What is the typical cost of advertising?
Typical advertising costs are between $300 and $500 although this varies with the role.

You pay cost price for advertising so you get the benefit of any bulk rates that we might get.

Sometimes there is no advertising spend at all because we have the right person immediately available to you from our database.
